Voron0.2 Build
Description
Voron 3d printers have become very popular over the years. They are extremely DIY and require a lot of time and energy to build. I decided to build the 0.2 varient because it is small and can easily fit on a desk. It only has a print area of 120mm by 120mm which seems too small but when I looked at everything I typically print falls well within this area. This printer is also completely open source so I have complete control over every aspect of the printer. This is really nice because in the past I was locked into a certain slicer or hardware. It also has a really nice community behind the printer so there are a ton of upgrades and mods for the printer. I opted for the LDO kit as they seemed to be the highest quality parts. This printer took me about 29 hours to build. This printer requires ABS parts since it has a heated chamber and PLA parts wouldn't be able to handle the heat. I didn't have a 3d printer capable of printing ABS so I used the PrintItForward program to get my parts printed. This program is great and the parts I received were perfect.
